Elizabeth Black lives in North Boulder with her husband Chris Brown, where she paints western landscapes and grows Christmas trees and vegetables on her teeny farm. Since watching Al Gore’s movie “An Inconvenient Truth”, she has been very concerned about climate change, and has grown and given away 600-900 seedling trees a year, to help lock up CO2 in Boulder. Her 5000th tree went out to a new home last year. Over the last 10 years since the movie’s release, our country’s lack of action and all the terrible predictions about climate change have discouraged her. Soil Carbon Sequestration is the first really hopeful thing she has learned about Climate Change, and she wants to share the good news with you. It is important for all of us to have hope!
