Isaac Rivera

Isaac Rivera is a Graduate Research Fellow at the Fourth World Center for the Study of Indigenous Law and Politics, and assistant at the Facility for Advanced Spatial Technology (FAST) at the University of Colorado Denver. As a graduate student in geography, Isaac’s research interests include political ecology, feminist political geography, development, critical GIS, science & technology studies, indigenous politics, critical race theory, dispossession, and the black radical tradition. Isaac’s work includes mapping territorial struggles at the international level in Nicaragua, Nagaland, Standing Rock, Burma, and the Congo, as well as research centered on gentrification and environmental justice in Denver, Colorado.
