Michael Gilmore

Michael Gilmore is a recent graduate from the University of Colorado and the INVST Community Leadership Program. In his time at CU and in the INVST Program he focused on issues of food access and education and began promoting the idea of urban agriculture. He, along with several others, founded Collaboration for Local Solutions, which focuses on creating platforms for urban agriculture implementation here within Boulder and Colorado community. Collaboration for Local Solutions just completed their first learning garden right here at CU's East Campus SEEC building which is now producing food that will be used in the SEEC Cafe. Since graduating in 2016, Michael has now began a career in the renewable energy industry and continues to promote local food through his work with Collaboration for Local Solutions.
